Melodramatic day

OMG! Im feeling melodramatic right now. It's just that most of the people close to me are going away. When I was in grade school I have this friend that Im really close and she moved away to a province where her father lives. Then there was high school, I have a lot of close friends out there and until now Im in touch with them. But we reallly don't see each other that much. One in a blue moon. Then Meilan went to Malaysia to work, my social life died when she went away. No more gogogo, kaladkaring buddy for me. Most of my barkada is busy with their works. Cpa, who travel Phillipnes extensively to audit different brances of Metrobank. Jen, in the hospital. Hazel with her call center career. Fhel with his HSBC thing....(sight) I missed those days when we were together. Then I miss also M. So near yet so far. Im thankful that I met Poala, my office mate. She's my new gogogo buddy. But then I transfered to another team and I can only see her when Im doing an application with other companies.Hahaha! Don't worry, I won't leave Trend now,since I turned down most of the job offers. I miss the old team fox. I miss my college buddies, Grace ( though she's my office mate), Dots, Jam, Lew, Ja, and Ashel. 

Then there is this resign fever in our company. Most of the people I know and close are resigning. Now one of my officemate and a dear friend will pass her resignation today. I feel sad. But Im happy that she found another company that she can grow. Well I guess that's life...the only thing that are constant: death and taxes....

Dangerous secret in the colored straws

Horrible story of mine goes back to year 2005 March.
I ordered a Club Sandwich and a Sprite in a restaurant somewhere in Manila
When I finished half of the sandwich I sipped a sprite.
But it didn¡¯t taste like an ordinary sprite I used to drink.
So I sipped once more, but it still tasted the same.
It tasted like a sprite mixed with some kind of oil.
I called the clerk and asked him if the sprite was expired. He said it was just delivered today. So I asked him to taste it. Then he also found that something was wrong with it.

Both of us were wondering for a while. Then I got to look inside the straw.
There were a lot of tiny black round things that looked like eggs.
So I cut the middle of the straw lengthwise to have a better look.
Yuck. There were a lot of tiny black round things in it.
I suppose they were eggs of cockroach. About 1000 eggs were there.

Then I began to check all the other straws in the straws case one by one.
Almost all of them contained black eggs that seemed to be either the cockroach eggs or excretions.

After the incident I began to check all the straws in the restaurants and fast food chains that I had gone to.
Almost of all the straws contained the same black eggs.
Especially the darker the colors of straws, the more black eggs were found.
In black straws, extreme amount of black eggs were found.
It was found out that it¡¯s because the cockroaches live (hatch eggs and excrete) in the dark places.

On a Maundy Thursday

After doing my yearly Station of the Cross thing, I went home and power up my laptop to continue the downloading of the movie Love in the Time of Cholera. Then I decided to download a pdf for a comparison guide for dSLR cameras. I want to buy a dSLR camera this month, and I think I might buy a Nikon D40x. The price is reasonable and I don't need a high end SLR camera since im just a novice.

After finishing the Alexandria Link novel by Steve berry I didn't have a book to read so I decided to go to Power Books in Megamall to browse what next book should I read. Then I saw this book, Twilight. It caught my attention because of the cover. And I'm looking for a book with many pages so that it will last for 2 weeks for me to read. So I decided to buy the book. I began reading it, at first I was bored because the main character Isabella Swanson just talks about how much she hate moving to the town of her father. But then as I progress reading I got hooked. Her first meeting with Edward, the way Edward rescue her from the truck and such. The book is a page turner. Im so crazed by the book that I decided to buy the next two sequel, New Moon and Eclipse. I'm not surprised to find out that they will be making a movie out of this book. I just hope that the movie will give justice to the novel unlike the Golden Compass which is totally BIG disappointment to me.

hindi maitatwa na ang kendi ay naging malaking parte ng kabataan natin.mga makukulay,mababango(although mnsan may maantot),at masasarap na kending lalung nagpasaya saten at mnsang nagpaiyak din dahil sa sakit ng ipen na dulot nito.balikan natin ang mga kending namayagpag at pumukaw sa mga puso at tastebuds nmin nung panahon ko.

 

1. KENDI MINT - eto ang kending kanunu-nunuan pa ng dynamite.ang official na kendi ng mga taong may tinatagong puot sa knilang kaloob looban.mint candy sya(malamang?!) na may lamang chocolate o kokwang mamasa masa sa pinakagitna.kulay green ang wrapper nya na may nakaimprentang eskimo na nakangite at parang gustong magpasubo na.

2.
