Wow, what can I say, its been a long time since I've visited and posted on my site. Im burned out right now and Im writing right now to de-stress. So Im gonna talk about tennis, since its one of the things that makes me happy.This week Elena Dementieva retired from tennis. I didn't see this coming! I was sleeping and my friend texted me saying she retired. Upon reading I got up and went to my PC to confirm the issue. I've never been a big fan of Lena, but I respected her since like what most of my tennis friend said, she's once of the nicest person in tour. Too bad I didn't have the chance to see or meet her.
Things that I will miss/remember about Elena..
* the beijing olympics which she won GOLD medal
* a tennis player with a grandslam potential but fails to convert
* her horrible SERVE! ( oh please, its my personal opinion so respect it!)
* her spirit ( she never gives up!)
* her fitness ( look she's 29 and manage to play many tournaments!)
* and above all I will miss mommy VERA praying for her daughter
For a tennis fan like me Im sure Elena Dementieva will be missed! But in WTA nothing is impossible, She can comeback one day!
