My 23rd Birthday

celebrated my 23rd bday at Redbox Trinoma. 7pm to 12am. I had a great time with all my friends. Not all pics are uploaded....

My 23rd bday

Yesterday, I celebrated my 23rd bday at Redbox Trinoma. Im so thankful for all the people that come to celebrate it with me. Meilan, Ceff, Lester, my brother, Poala, Jazi, Madz, Ninay, Ryan, Grace, Mari, Fred, Joan, Jammie, Kura and Rodel.Uber thanks! Thanks din sa lahat ng nakaalala na bumati sa akin sa txt.

Pansin ko lang habng tumatanda ako, di nacocomplete ang barkada. One of the reasons na naghahanda ako is for me to see my barkada. Kudos to Meilan for perfect attendance. Ang effort ni Cpa na magbihis and kay Lester na galing office pa. Thanks din sa online team na pumunta. Im so touched talaga and happy that I've meet you guys. Kay Fred at Ninay na nagstay after 12am, super thanks at uber nahihiya ako na kinaladkad pa namin kayo sa Morato(or Timog? I can't remember!) para lang mag Starbucks. My tounge is still burned. hahaha!


I really want to go home after drinking coffee but Meilan and Ceff said that it will be best kung magpaumaga na lang daw. So we hunt for a bar. Most of the bar in the area are closed already so we decided to go to Metrowalk. Sarado na din halos lahat dun, so no choice kundi mag Eastwood. We went to Something Fishy to spend the rest of the time drinking Margaritas, eating sisig and reminising the past. Super taas lang ng lagnat ko that time so my barkada decided to call it a night/morning after several glasses. So here I am right now with a fever and a burned tounge waiting for the new year to come and drinking Muslide na sapilitang pinapainom. hahaha!

A Trip to my Memory Lane

2008 year is ending and as I was putting my planner/diary in my box, I decided to read it's contetnts. Wow, ang bilis lumipas ng panahon...a year has passed and Im a year older and hopefully wiser and stronger to accept things that I can't accept. So let's look back what happened to me this year...

January

Excited, since nabibilang na lang ang araw ko sa phone support and I will be transferring to the online team. Im thankful since meron akong kakilala sa online. Most of my fox team mates are already there( Kura, Mot, and Rodel), and there's Mari so it's good to know na nandyan lang sila to help me adjust.

February

Got a job offer at some company and I did not accept it. My heart is not on it. The incident on Makati Medical Hospital. I almost passed out on the elevator! I really hate going to the hospital!

March

My first time to go to Baguio. Seen Colbie Caillat at Glorietta and have an autograph with her. SRP day. Most of my officemates are taking test and interview at other company so I decided to join the bandwagon.Exam and interview at other company which I did not take seriously. My palpitations are frequent so I decided to go to a hospital(though I really don't like going to the hospital, I have no choice but to go) and have my heart checked. Bought a DSLR camera. Nikon D60.

April

Another heart test at Manila Doctors Hospital.  Found my bookstore mecca! National Bookstore Cubao is heaven for me! Finally finished Crisis Core and I cried in the end when Zack died. Palawan tour!!! I have discovered the beauty of Palawan.
May

My mom bought me a new laptop. Start of my addiction and stupidity. Most of the people that  I know in the company are leaving! I think this is the month that I started getting lazy. Nabadtrip ako sa pagpapalit ng schedule. And this is the month that I promised myself na if Im going to apply in another comapany I will take the exam seriously.

June

Credit Card fraud! I have been charged for 72K in my credit card and I have no idea about it. Since I can't use my credit card to buy Cinderella tickets for my family I exchanged some of my foreign currency to buy 5 tickets for the show. Took and exam at Maerks. Camarines Sur Adventure! Thanks Uni for being such a good host!

July

A lot of things happen this month. Got a confirmation that I passed the exam at Maerks but there's no vacancy at the moment. My credit card problem has been solved. The trigger was finally pulled. I decided to do a walk in application at Transcom. It's now or never situation for me. I told myself that if my going to to have a JO in this company I will take it no matter what. Thank God na nagkaJO! I think God agreed with me na it's time to go and there's no point of staying pa. I got angry to some of my friends in work. July 22, I passed my resignation letter at Trend. Last few days as a Trender.


August

Start of my new work! 8-8-08 Start of Summer Olympics, Cinderella time! which I failed to watch after many months of anticipation! Uber petiks mode sa work. Start of my depression mode. Since this is the month na uso ang 2 bottles sa work, this is the time din na natuto akong magsmoke. Thank goodness that I have so many friends that put sense on my coconut brained shell! I finally seen Dots after so many years!

September

Booked a flight to Bora for 4 pero d natuloy si Lew at Dots so I have to refund the other 2 tickets. Me and Grace went to Bora, just a weekend gateaway. Grabe bumabagyo!!! Di ganong enjoy kasi malakas yung alon at madilim. Buti na lang at oks ang night life!

October

Petiks mode pa din sa office. Received a call from Maerks for a second test and interview. Since petiks naman sa office, I decided to give it a shot. Ewan ko kung ano yung result kasi up to now wala pa din. I also received a JO from another shipping company pero I did not accept it.

November

It's a good month for me. Most of my expectations are meet. My mom start nagging me about buying a house and lot.

December

My favorite month of the year. Madami ding nangyari sa akin sa month na ito. This is the month na narealize at na feel ko kung pano mawalan ng pera. I finally bought my mom a lot in a subdivision. Zeroed out ang aking bank accounts. Family problems, pero oks lang, life goes on. Nagcrave din ako ng Royce chocolates this month o di ba ngayon pa ako nagcrave ng Royce kung kelan poorness ako! Nakapagsimbang gabi din ako sa wakas! 3rd Christmas na I spend it in the office. My 23rd bday which I celebrated at Redbox Trinoma. I think it was a briliant idea na pag isahin ang barkada at officemate ko sa iisang party unlike my past bdays. Tipid pa! hahaha!



I have so much to be grateful and thankful for this year. Sa lahat ng tao na nakilala at nakasama ko this year, salamat ng madami. All I can do right now is to look forward to year 2009. Let's all hope for the best on what the year 2009 will bring to us! Have a happy new year everyone.!

happy birthday to me

Saturday madness!

This is my first time to have a weekend support shift. Syempre weekend, it means na ako lang ang tao na IT Helpdesk for TWW. Kaloka, Ianne's word came true! Got so many calls, Altitude servers in Italy regions were down...san ka pa! Nakakawindang! But despite of it Im still happy because of the news that I've got from Marat's site. As expected he will not quit tennis. Natuwa ako kasi official na he won't quit tennis! More hotness on tennis court na naman!

Marat has made his decision and decided he will continue playing tennis for next year 2009. At the moment he will play Hopman Cup from 3rd January then Kooyong and the Australian Open where he will be seeded 29. Further details of his schedule will be released as and when available.

Then my TBFF is back! Ang boring ng buhay ko sa office pag wala si TBFF, onti lang kasi nagpopop sa akin sa YM and Im not that kind of person kasi na nagpopop ng tao sa YM because I always think that they are busy.

I also went to Trinoma to pay for my room reservation sa REDBOX. Nakakatemp magshopping pero mas malakas ang will ko na huwag magshopping since Im pennyless and wala akong pambayad sa credit card. Yes Ceff, you're reading it right IM A PAUPER! Go now and check it on your computer, wala na ang aking mga so called hidden wealth na lagi mong tinitingnan. hahaha!

To those asking for my birthday wish list, just surprise me na lang. I think you know naman kung ano gusto ko at ayaw ko except kay Grace na out of this world na book ang binibigay sa akin. Grace please no more Ann Rice erotica book. If you'll give me Ann Rice make sure it's Vampire's Chronicles. And to Lester, I've already made you a list para di sayang yung pera mo. hehehe! Now I wonder kung makakautang ako sa mom ko pambili ng cellphone. May cellphone madness kasi ngayon sa IT depertment. hahaha!

And last 2 hours on this shift and Im off to a LONG VACATION! yahoo! Holiday Vacation at last!

My Christmas

This is the third Christmas that I've spend in the office and I can say it's the best one! No calls, no tickets for me in the queue and I've finished updating the Altitude campaigns! Since there's no work to be done, we've decided to watch movies online. Ianne finally got the chance to finished her TV series and Mari got the chance to catch up with the whole Gossip Girl episode. I managed to watch 2 movies, Im so moved by The Kite Runner. Tear jerking movie! Anyway I just hope this kind of "petiks" will continue until Saturday....hahaha!

Piled up books on my desk...

Got a new book!!! Chelly gave me a Christmas present and it's a book! She gave me The Time Traveler's Wife book. I wanted a Wicked book since Im so hooked in it's musical soundtrack, but the Wicked book is out of stock in most of the leading bookstores. So I asked her to just gave me the time traveler's wife. Anyway, I will just add that book to the pile of books that I haven't read on my study table. I wish I can have enough time to read those books since it's starting to pile up. Here's a picture of the books that I bought, borrowed, that I still have not read.

If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldron - Borrorwed that book from Ryan. And I only manage to read up to page 10. I wonder when will I return the book....

The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud - As you can see on the picture it's still on it's original packaging. I bought that book last month on Fullybooked MOA. I've already some chapters on it on ebook and I've decided to buy the book since the story is a good one. I can still sell it on ebay since it's still considered brandnew. hahaha! joke! I love my books!

Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho - Meilan gave this book to me as a birthday gift and I think that was 2 or 3 years ago and still I haven't finish reading this book! My bookmark said that I stopped at chapter 11. Probably when Im 25 years old I've already finish reading this book.

The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffengger - My newest addition... thanks Chelly for the book. Promise I will read it. It will be 3rd on my queque.

 Brisingr by Christopher Paolini - Im a fan of Eragon trilogy..ay saga na pala sya... I bought this book since I collected Paolini's book and I love his works. Sadly Im still on the early part of the book and as much as I want to read it, wala talagang time!

Gossip Girl(All I want is everything) by Cecily von Ziegsar - Ah, on this one I nearly finish. I think I only got 20 pages left and if I excerted an effort I can finish it in no time!

Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera - I saw the movie and I loved it that's why I bought this book. I have also read his other works and I loved it also. I think Im already on the middle part of this book. I only stopped reading it since my brother borrowed the book for a report and after that I dunno what happen why I did not continue reading. hahaha!


Sepulchre by Kate Mosse - I wonder why I bought this book...ah I know na! I've read kate's first book The Labyrinth and ok naman sya. So I bought this one also, her second book. And as you can see it's still unopened. Pwede ding ibenta pa uli. hahaha!

Shopaholic and Baby by Sophie Kinsella - I love all Sophie's work! I read all of them...well except this one and Remember Me that's still on my queque. Im also near to finish this book. If you want a good laugh book I highly recommend all Sophie Kinsella's book.

Remember Me by Sophie Kinsella - Fresh from its national bookstore plastic! Obiously untouched! hahaha! I bought this book when it's paperback first released, so go figure out how many months na syang nasa bookshelves ko. hahaha!

So Im still expecting new books to come because my birthday is coming and most of my barkada knows that I love receiving books as my birthday present. I really wish that I can read them all!

Again and Again

I've renewed my drivers license today. And as usual sabog na naman ako. I wonder why every time Im renewing my license,lagi akong walang tulog. The first time that I have my non pro license, I was on an overnight party. The second time, we are having an overnight project at my house. Then this time, I was from my work and simbang gabi. Then there was this drug test, na lagi kong pinoproblema. Though I know na yung technique kung pano mag pee, I refused to do it. I refused to drink coffee since I was hoping that I can get my new license fast since maaga akong pumunta sa LTO. I was there around 7:30am pero madami na ding tao. I drank 2 bottles of mineral water in hope that I will pee, but alas! no pee! Shemay antok na antok na ako ng time na yun at di nakikisama ang aking bladder. Around 9:30am, wala pa din nangyayari sa akin. So I finally decided to drink coffee. I asked my mom if she can buy me a coffee sa Starbucks na nondecaf para may chance na makatulog ako kahit 1 hour man lang, pero syempre my mom refused to go to Starbucks so I ended up drinking black coffee. So the coffee did it trick and I finally pee! sa wakas!  Grabe ang bilis makuha yung result ng drug test! Kaasar mas matagal yung process ng pagpee ko kesa sa process ng result. Ano ba ginagawa dun sa urine, ang bilis malaman kung positive or negative ka....may lithmus paper bang hinuhulog dun at once na it turned blue your negative and once that it turned red your positive? hahaha!Then off to the LTO office where I have to fill up a form. Shet ang haba ng pila!!! Goodluck naman 10:30am na at nasa step 1 pa lang ako. So go figure out kung ano oras na ako natapos...ay mali di pa pala ako tapos kasi as of now wala pa din yung new card ko. I left the LTO office around 2pm and asked my mom to just take my card if my name was called. So ayan wala pa din akong tulog...goodluck naman sa office...

What's in my head right now

So many things running through my mind right now and even in my dreams they hunt me..I keep dreaming of tennis and bags!  The Safins especially! Does it mean that Im so into Marat? Probably yes since I keep dreaming having a tennis practice with Marat topless. hahaha! Oh boy don't you ever think of retiring!

Then there's Anando(Ana Ivanovic and her boy toy Fernando Verdasco) I dream that I saw them in a shopping mall. And what the F in word! I just pass them by, so typically not me! hahaha! If I got a chance to see them I will certainly ask for an autograph and a picture of them!

This tennis off season is really getting into my nerves! Oh I miss the action and the drama!

And then lets go to my very recent dream...I don't know where I got the money, but I have a lot of it to spend! And I bought a lot of LV bags! Yeah..buying so much LV bags in just an instance it will only happen in dream..so dream on! hahaha!



My cravings! I'm still craving for Royce chocolates. Most of you know that Im not so into chocolates, but Im really craving for these ones. I am also craving for their potato chips. Hmmm..yummy...I really need to go to Rockwell...I want Nama!!!

12-14-08 At first I was sleepy in the party kasi boring wala pang program...but once the program started...wow it rocks!!! I like the performance of different campaigns and teams..it was so entertaining and hilarious especially the violet girl...grabe nagpalpitate ako dun! hahaha!

I went to Starbucks to get my dose of caffaine then sa elevator pag akyat sa office may nakasabay kaming mga agents na out of the blue na lang nagcomment about Starbucks. I think it was something malicious, d ko na pinakingan kasi I got a txt from Ry. Nakakaasar lang. Ang lakas lakas pa ng usapan. Buti na lang mabait akong tao(hahaha!) at hindi sinabi na "alam mo fake yang suot mo". hahaha! Seriously if you got nothing good to say..just keep that thought to yourself and shut your mouth!

Twice in a row that the barista failed to deliver my coffee correct! Yesterday they have to redo my coffee twice and the same thing happen today! I miss Andrea, the barista that always serves our coffee. Most of the barista right now in Starbucks in San Lazaro are partners in training. Kaasar kasi, may attitude problem yung barista na nagserve ng coffee ko ngayon. Anyway 3 mins to go for pacman fight. Hope Manny will win. I'm going to watch the fight in this website:

Seibel! OMG! I'm surprised that I got this ticket today. Parang Trend Micro lang. hahaha! I used to hate this application before kasi lagi syang naghahang especially during 6pm. Ok, here's my review about this talked about film right now...TWILIGHT. If you will ask me if it is worth watching in movie house...that depends..if you wanna be "in" I'm sure you'll watch it whatever my movie review is. But if not, I'll tell you, just wait for a movie download in torrent or just watch it online. This movie was directed by Catherine Hardwicke(I dunno who the hell she is). The movie is fast paced though its 121 minutes all in all. The make up for me is horrible. The effect is cheap especially when Edward (Robert Pattinson) is running and climbing trees. He always climbs trees(a monkey perhaps noh?). I did not feel the chemistry between the two(or Im just so numb at that time?) There are some part of the movie that gives me laugh but you'll soon forget about it. Honestly, I want the movie to portray the same emotion I got from the books. But it didn't. The only thing that I'm happy watching this movie was my companion Ninay. Though, like me, she always complain about the ugliness of this movie. hehehe!

TWW First Ever Team Buidling

TWW first Team Building held at Pasig Rain Forest. Im so happy that this event is successful and my team mates enjoy it. Im also proud of myself that I was able to organize this kind of thing because in my previous company Im always the attendee and did not help on any activities.

Congratulations to the Red team for winning! Ianne how many green beans again? hahaha!

Yes I am happy and I made the right choice...

A friend of mine did some reading at my previous blog entries and she asked me if I am now happy at my new job since on my previous post all I do is whine that I wanna resign at Trend. I told her, at first I doubt if I made the right decision, I miss my friends at Trend terribly that I have this slump or depression mode. But as time goes and as of now I am happy and very sure that I made the right decision. M, I really got curious on what my previous posts are, so I also back read..gosh how I realize that most of them is about how I hate the client, the product and what I am doing. How did I survive 2 years on Trend? hahaha! That's because I have great friends on that company. Miss u M!

I was there last night and here's my two cents  of thought for the concert.

I arrived in the venue around 5:30PM or 6:00PM. Im in the silver section(yeah I know..that's the only ticket that I can afforrd these days since Im poorness na.) Live any open field concert the security was tight. They inspect your bags and do the kapkap thing with your body. Then inside the venue there were several booths for globe(which sells the visibility kit), Mcdo(na uber haba ang pila at  ang laki ng patong sa tinda), Italianis(which only sells nachos) and Converse(na namimigay ng madaming flyers). The first thing that we do is line up in frot of Mcdo to buy foods since we were so hungry at that time. No more cheeseburger and softdrinks that time. So there, we just wait until 8PM. we were just standing near the front fence of the silver section. Nakakaubos power and energy ang pagtayo and since siksikan pa nakakaasar lang. Nakakapag init ulo din yung mga katabi ko. Angal ng angal kasi daw may kumagat sa legs nya na lamok. AMP! nakashorts kasi! Konyotiks ewan pa ang language! Good thing that the show starts exactly at 8Pm. Chris Brown was first to perform. He was suspended in the air when he did his first song. Im not really a Chris Brown fan so I can't relate on his songs. Konting songs lang talaga alam ko sa kanya. But he's so energetic on the stage. I find myself shouting, dancing and singing on his performances. There are parts that Chris Brown is doing a lipsynch but I can understand it since he was dancing and singing at the same time. 3 times ata syang nag change costumes. The end part thing that was Forever, grabe ang sigawan especially the part when Chris Brown took off his upper clothes. Then there was a long intermission kasi aayusin yung stage for Rihanna. Madaming fireworks, kala mo new year na. Then it's Riri's time!! Yung first song ni Rihanna is Disturbia. I was shocked!!! No reation ang mga tao!!! I mean, for me si Rihanna talaga yung pinunta ko sa concert, tpos karamihan ng tao walang reaction! Ang konti lang namin na sumisigaw nung time ni Rihanna. I think pagod na ang mga tao. Umbrella( the last song...and then Chris Brown appear on the stage for the duet! Ayun na nagwala na ang mga tao!)hahaha!

Things that I don't like and observed in the crown( para sa akin lang naman..) they don't join in the fun. Kasi ako when I watch concert as much as possible I clap, I dance, I sing and all sort of things para buhay na buhay. Yung sa linkin park nga na concert dati pamatay kasi uber slam! The crowd was so passive when Riri performed. Nakakaasar lang kung ako si Riri, I was performing 100% then wala man lang reaction sa audience! Most of them pa was just taking pictures and videos. Yun lang yung ginawa. Grabe! Well, I do hope Riri will come back here in Manila at sana ok na yung financial status ko ng makapanood na ako sa harap. And I do hope it will be in Araneta para I will be comfortable. peace out!

Since Im a pauper these days I can only afford the Silver section in this concert. No close up view. The show is a blast!!! Chris Brown performed first then followed by Rihanna. 70,000 estimated people watched the said event.

Doha YEC Draw

I stayed up late yesterday in order to see this draw! I have watched 2 movies(Tropic Thunder and Iron Man) while waiting.. and still no draw. Luckily there's Tsonga to keep me company. A big hug to Jo for winning Paris Masters! When I saw the Doha draw, my first reaction is: WTF is this a joke? Having the two serbs in the same group and the sisters at the other group...oh well...thy will be blood on the Maroon group!hahaha! So here's the grouping for the DOHA YEC 2008:

Given that Ana is inconsistent these days, JJ will have an opportunity to beat Ana. For the Maroon group...hay...a lot of luck to Dinara since the Williams sisters is on that group and it will be an outdoor game. I can still remember the USO where Dinara has a hard time because of the wind. She hates the wind! hahaha! I can't see Dinara winning on that group..but still I'll cheer for her.

I think for the finals it will be Siberian VS.  one of the sister (Ana vs. Serena) or (JJ vs Serena) whatever! Ana vs. JJ on the first match!  Can JJ avenge her lost to Ana? Will Ana be able to defeat JJ again? I hope Ana will be 100% "ANA" on the game so that she can win from JJ. Wow this is just the first match and it's so awesome already! Can't wait til Tuesday! Ajde!

November is coming..when I was a child I used to hate this month since this is the spooky month, where all the horror movies will come out and even MGB has a Holloween special show. I hate watching horror movies since I usually dream about it and it will result to a fever.  Up to now I still don't watch any horror movies, call me chicken..I don't care. So when does this Holloween originated? Time to do some google and here's the result:

But now, I don't hate November, though I still don't want those horror and creepy movies. There are a lot of things that I look forward to this November:

- Chris Brown and Rihanna Concert(me and my siblings will watch it)
- Twilight movie(hope it will give justice to the book)
- Gogo kaladrarin buddy VL in the Philippines!(Yey! I miss you gogo buddy! Libre mo ko sa Twilight! hehe!)
- Possible Barkada reunion(dahil dadating si gogo buddy)
- Bolt movie!
- Probably my Cebu Pacific refund(gee, I need that money! sana marefund na 10K ko!!!)

Those are the things that I can think as of now, but I know November will be a fun month for me and a lot of things will still come. Ajde!

At last Ana won!!!

The long drought is over. Ana Ivanovic finally won a title after RG!  Ana won in General Ladies Linz. She defeated world No.9 Vera Zvonareva at the score of 6-2, 6-1. The link for the match is a crappy one and it always buffer so I can't comment much. But based on the statistic Vera did have a lot of UE.So all Baby E do to is to step up and win the game. I'll post a lot of Ana's picture since it's been ages since Ana won a tournament! Ajde Ana and goodluck to Doha!  Now I'm still watching Roger Federer game against David Nalbandian. Will post pics also if my Roger win. Allez!!! My stress reliever will be the year end number 1 in WTA. Congrats to Jelena Jankovic.
