It's been a long that since I posted something here. A lot of things happen in my life. I've lost some of my friends at work(don't know if "lost" is the right term). Got a new job, canceled most of my activities in August and such.
After two long years in Trend Micro, I finally quit at my job. I'm happy being a member of online team but due to circumstances I have to leave the company. Some people are asking me why I've resigned suddenly, pinag isipan ko ba daw. Pinag isipan ko naman sya kahit papaano.
Most of the people in Trend know that I have no intention applying for a higher position in the company, which is true. Wala talaga akong balak mag apply ng kahit anong higher position. Sometimes I joked that Im going to apply, just to stop them for asking me to.
So you may ask me what's the point of staying there for that long...wala lang, madali lang kasi yung work, ipon ng pera pambili ng gadgets and pangtravel. Oks din yung mga officemates ko. Yung travel buddies ko at yung girlfriends (madz n ninay) ko. hahaha! Tumataas naman yung sahod ko every performance review. So yun ang dali lang talaga.
So why resigned? I've been applyinng in different companies before, some I passed, some I failed. I even got a better job offer but tinagihan ko because, wala lang, tinatamad pa ako. Like Ham in who moved my cheese. Im afraid to leave my comfort zone. Then Meilan called and she told me that she'll gonna resign in her current her job in Malaysia to get another job in Singapore, she asked me if I know networking. I told her yes but not that much. So she said I should take some experience then she'll help me find a job in Singapore. My mom heared that conversation and I know she also want me to get a job abroad, she's also talking to my cousins in Canada to help me and my sister find a job there. So kahit di nya sabihin sa akin I can feel it. Some of my team mates are also actively seeking another job, some of them applied internally. So the presure in ON talaga. I feel I was on a race, a race to get out of this company. So race na naman.
Eden told me to apply in Transcom. Ang galing, kasi yung position na sinasabi ni Eden is for IT. So tamang tama para sa experience na sinasabi ni Meilan. So I try my luck. I never really thought that I will pass the exam because its was so hard. I don't know what PBX means! Then got a call for a techical interview, wala na naman ako nasagot. Another day has passed I got a call for a HR interview. That day, I know Im gonna have a JO. So I asked my parents if I will accept the JO and they said I should. So I accepted the offer. As I accepted the offer I have planned and arranged my ducks that I have to target.
So some might think that I have resigned because I lost to some battle, no I don't. Nagkataon lang din na Transcom yung company. I don't want to fight, I even don't know kung pano naging ganito yung situation ko. Ang hirap, lahat sila friends ko but I feel I have to choose. I choose to side with my college friend, but still I want to be in good terms with the others.They have been part of my Trend Micro life. Nakasama ko sila sa travel/adventures ko. Ewan ko ba kung bakit naging ganito! Sana maayos pa. Siguro in due time. It will all get better in time.
Sacrifices, ayun I have to sacrifice a lot of things in this new job in order to meet the target. I have to give up Cinderella. I been waiting for this for a long time. I even saved money to buy my family their tickets, I even plan to buy a dress in Mango, tapos d ko sya mapapanood! Meilan will have a short vacation in August, which we plan going to Bohol. So d rin ako pwede dun. Yung sahod ko naka hold! Balak ko pa naman bumili ng Toywatch! Malamang yung The West Side Stoty d ko din sya mapapanood. Mas malayo yung office, business attire, phone uli, possibility of night shift Hayyy at madami pang iba.
